Henry Cole Blue Plaque Photo

Henry Cole blue plaque - Sir Henry Cole lived here 1879-1880.  He originated the custom of sending Christmas Cards and was largely responsible for the foundation of the Kensington Museum. He was also a great postal reformer.

Flying Bomb (V1/V2) Blue Plaque - SER Blackfriars Station    This is the entrance to the former Blackfriars Station. Commenced by the Charing Cross Railway Co. on its line from London Bridge to Charing Cross, it was taken over by the South Eastern Railway Co. before opening in January 1864.
