This is not just another club with a nondescript interior, charging extortionate drink prices and playing funky house, R&B and eclectic beats; Punk ushers in a more casual, hip policy that rebels against the establishment.
This is a venue that is taking West End nightlife in a new direction.
We’ve all heard of mashed-up music, Punk now brings you mashed-up entertainment. A permanent stage allows live music and cabaret to sit side by side with Smash & Grab, Bloody Awful Poetry, Glamor:oke and I Heart Niyi hosted by Super Super.
Gossip, Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, Maximo Park, UnkleJam, Supergrass, Ronnie Wood, Mark Ronson, Johnny Borrell, David Walliams, Mario Testino, Jay Kay, Bobby Gillespie, Mick Jones, Mika, Philip Treacy, Kate Moss, Julien Macdonald, Matthew Williamson, Lily Allen, Mary-Kate Olsen, Agyness Deyn and Kelly Osbourne have all recently partied at Punk. Add to that a 3am licence, a 270 capacity, a Soho Square location – this could be Anarchy!
