Pilgrim Fathers And Mayflower, London Black Plaque - Mayflower Public House. This restored 16th century public house was originally called the Spread Eagle. It is named after the ship chartered by the Pilgrim Fathers, who left Rotherhithe for America in 1620
Tom Sayers Blue Plaque - Tom Sayers 1826-1865 pugilist died here
John Wesley And Susanna Annesley Black Plaque - Forty yards south of this building on the last side of the site of The Foundery, John Wesley's headquarters 1750-78 and the first Methodist book room. The mother of the Wesleys died there 30th July 1742.
