Atkinsons Carillon, James Atkinson, Edward Atkinson, and Atkinsons of London black plaque - Atkinsons Carillon. The only carillon in London is housed in the tower which surrounds this building.  A carillon of 23 bells, it is played by hand on special occasions of public and private rejoicing.  Atkinsons, founded in 1799, has sold perfumes and beauty products on this site since 1832.
