Abbey Street Bridge, London and George Thomas Landmann blue plaque - Bermondsey  Abbey Street Bridge  Designed by  Colonel George Thomas Landmann  Royal Engineers  (1780-1854)  The bridge is Grade II listed, and the central part was completed in 1836 for the London & Greenwich Railway, London's first railway line.
