Aubaine (Marylebone)

Tucked away from the usual tourist hangouts is Marylebone. This area of London has a real neighbourhood feel, although it has a peculiar yet charming mix of influences.

Two minutes away from Aubaine, is Marylebone High Street, peppered with high-end fashion brands, independent boutiques, bookshops (including the well-known Daunt Books), and quirky coffee shops. It’s a far cry from the fast-moving crowds on Oxford Street, meaning you can amble along at your own pace.

Regents Park is also just an 11-minute walk from Aubaine Marylebone. Enjoy a relaxed walk in the London sunshine, or admire the beautiful colours in Queen Mary’s Rose Gardens. There are also frequent and entertaining performances at the open-air theatre.

As you explore Marylebone, notice the large numbers of doctors, hospitals, and medical organizations in the area. Harley Street, in particular, attracts a large number of private specialists in medicine and surgery and is fast becoming the heart of the UK’s plastic surgery industry.

Or head to St Christopher’s Place, a pedestrianised shopping street selling high-end fashion labels located between Oxford Street and Wigmore Street.
