Lyceum Tavern

The Lyceum is a decent enough pub, especially given its touristy location, with the usual cheap-but-decent Sam Smith's drink selections on offer - so expect students from nearby King's College to feature amongst your fellow drinkers. It's also one where you can often find a seat (both upstairs and downstairs), even at peak times. Token homage is paid to the origins of the pub's name with the display of some theatre-related imagery around the walls, but even so, the point isn't laboured. All in all, it's a good pub for the area and easy to find, but it's not one you'd make a special journey to get to - unless you were particularly looking for a pub that doesn't have any TVs.
