Introducing Paper...
The legendary Paper nightclub has re-opened its doors after eight years away. The West End nightclub was the hottest venue in the capital during its three wild years and hosted parties for the biggest stars in the world.
Keira Knightley had her 21st birthday party there, P Diddy loved the venue so much he had three parties there and brought Sienna Miller along with him. Jay Z celebrated his birthday there, and Beyonce and her sister Solange partied in the VIP room.
Kanye West performed his international hit song Gold Digger in the main room, Chaka Khan sang Ain’t Nobody and the Klaxons performed for Anna Abramovitch’s 16th birthday party.
Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton was a regular, Rihanna partied there many times, as did Cheryl Cole and Will.I.Am. The venue in the basement of the Café Royal, rather aptly had a few royals patrons, Prince Harry and Princess Beatrice were often be discreetly let in the back door.
The post BAFTA party saw Hollywood stars Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johannson and Kevin Spacey dancing to the early hours and the London fashion week events were attended by Kate Moss, Christopher Kane, Helena Christensen and the late Alexander McQueen.
For three glorious and crazy years it was the favourite late night hangout of the great and the good, but then on New Year’s Eve 2008, it shut its doors for the last time. The Café Royal basement was sold to developers and the brightest spot in London’s nightlife went out with a bang.
But now it’s back with a luxurious new 400 capacity venue at the top of Wardour Street, and the former owners feel the capital is ready for a nightclub renaissance. The premium venue will be opening its doors at the end of January 2017 and is one of the most anticipated new clubs for a long, long time.
As before every element of the club will be the crème-de-la-crème of what made Paper one of the best clubs in the world.
The new Paper Soho is an exclusive 300 pax capacity venue situated in the heart of Soho in London’s Westend. Paper Soho features a bespoke hand-made bar, the latest high tech sound and lighting system and the worlds best DJ’s playing an open format music Set. The customer experience is what places Paper at the top of the London club scene offering hostesses guiding you to your tables, VIP table service tailored to your party on a nightly basis. A small innovation not widely seen in other nightclubs are USB plugs fitted in all of our VIP seating and table areas. Our unique, stylish dancers the “PaperDolls” are there to entertain you all throughout the night.
