The Houses of Parliament (The Palace of Westminster)

The Houses of Parliament, also referred to as the Palace of Westminster, are home to the House of Commons and the House of Lords. The Palace of Westminster is also home to the clock tower, Big Ben, one of the most recognised London attractions worldwide. The Houses of Parliament are one of the centres for political life in the United Kingdom. Tours are available for only two months in the summer while Parliament is not sitting, however it possible to view debates from the public galleries throughout the year.
