Zia Teresa began its journey towards becoming a London institution some six decades ago. Our founder, Lorenzo Fraquelli, had already been hugely successful in establishing Italian cooking as a mainstay of London’s culinary scene during the early 1950’s. In 1956 he decided upon his own independent venture and opened Zia Teresa on Hans Road in the chic heart of Knightsbridge. It has stayed with the Fraquelli family ever since, as part of our Metropolitan Restaurants group, and this year we celebrate 60 Years of serving exceptional, time-honoured Italian cooking.

A welcoming smile, a convivial atmosphere, a menu for everyone and for any budget - these are just a few of the ingredients that keep our dining rooms busy throughout the day. Local residents and workers join the shoppers for our consistently reliable food and our fantastic location over the road from Harrods and around the corner from Harvey Nichols, the museums in South Kensington and the Royal Albert Hall. The excellent value of our A La Carte, Pizzeria and Set Menus and bespoke party and eventing services is backed up by fast and flawless service – our staff are always on hand to help make your experience as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.
