Portrait of a Boy holding a Rose Print
by National Gallery

£20.00

1600s

The portrait has been attributed to François Duchastel, a Flemish painter who worked in Ghent. His work is not, however, well defined and such an attribution must remain tentative. The costume shows a Spanish influence and was worn in the Southern Netherlands in about 1660.
