London Telephone Box Christmas Decoration

Embroidered Christmas Decorations

Quintessentially British, the red telephone box began appearing in London during the 1920s. The iconic design can still be seen on many street corners today.

This London telephone box Christmas decoration is an amusing interpretation of Sir Giles Gilbert Scott’s K6 kiosk design. It’s handmade from felt and is embroidered with metal threads on one side; the other side is backed with plain felt. There’s even a silver-coloured hanging loop to attach the decoration to your Christmas tree. This decoration is made in Thailand by a co-operative group of women working to Fairtrade principles.
