A plastic packet filled with 7 paper tubes of katsuo dashi (bonito soup stock). Use with miso paste to make miso soup, or with soy sauce and red pepper to make chige. Can also be used in soup bases for noodle dishes. Highly versatile and used in many Japanese dishes.
