The Archangel Gabriel, with a lily (here symbol of the Virgin's purity), kneels before the Virgin and brings the Lord's salutation. New Testament (Luke 1:26-35).

This may have been the upper part of an altarpiece. If the attribution is accepted, this would have to be a fairly early work by Giannicola while he was strongly influenced by Perugino.
