Guide to... Kensington High Street
Kensington High Street, or High Street Kensington to some, is the main shopping street in Kensington, one of the wealthiest areas of London, so it is no surprise it is home to lots of high-end shops.
There are some great restaurants, bars, and hotels nearby and it is easy to get to from the West End and easy to get to the West End from. The road itself runs from Kensington Palace to Hammersmith where it joins the Hammersmith Road.
Kensington High Street is also the location of Europe's largest roof garden. Which has three different gardens which are home to 500 species of plants, fountains, a stream, duck, flamingos and Babylon Restaurant owned by Richard Branson's Virgin Life brand.
There are a number of big record labels located in the local area (including Universal, Sony, Warner and EMI) which also help in making Kensington High Street one of the trendiest areas of London.
