Da Mario

Maria and Corrado Solimini married in Italy and moved to London over 20 years ago. Corrado worked in Cecconi’s restaurant in the Mayfair , well known in the 80’s for being one of the best Italian restaurant in London. After 10 years moved to Italy with his family to go and work for the Cipriani family at the famous Harry's Bar in Venice for 3 years ( again another institution in the restaurant business). Maria has always worked in Italian restaurants but stopped when she become a mother to 2 lovely children. She loves cooking and makes a really good homemade pasta and some of the desserts for the restaurant. They both always wanted open a restaurant and their dream came true when they decided to take over Da Mario restaurant in 2001. Their passion and down to earth philosophy for food is evident in their simple, yet well presented dishes.
