Guide to... Men’s Fashion in Soho
If there has been a fashion epicentre of the UK over the past 50 years it has been Soho in London. It is has not necessarily birthed styles like the King's Road or even Manchester or Liverpool but it has brought that cultural inspiration to the masses largely thanks to it being so dominated by retailers.
Oxford Street, which forms one side of Soho, was the place where shoppers flocked to for American goods in the post war years, and for music in the 80s and 90s. Carnaby Street was and is a major fashion thoroughfare as is Regent Street. The men's fashion brands in Soho tend to be younger, trendier, cheaper, and more edgy than those in Mayfair .
Being an area known for media and sex and fashion means Soho has always been trendy and that infamy has spread around Europe and the World meaning many leading brands will have a loss leading flagship store in or near Soho.
Our guide to men's fashion in Soho has lots of information about the best fashion stores in Soho.
