One of the many things us Londoner’s do well, are pubs. Pub lunches. Sunday dinners. A quick pint. Who doesn’t like a London pub? Not really sure where to spend your lazy Sunday’s or a quick catch-up post work? No problems, we have it sorted. Here are some of our favourites to get a decent tipple.

The Sherlock Holmes Pub

The Sherlock Holmes pub is a traditional English pub serving what is Londoner's love the most; larger, ales and delicious pub food. The traditional façade of The Sherlock Holmes pub, complete with gold lettering and hanging baskets, is a long-standing Northumberland Street landmark. This pub has a little secret, too, a complete recreation of Holmes and Watson's study and sitting room with a large collection of objects and photographs related to the characters from the books and adaptations. So if solving mysteries is your thing, head down The Sherlock Holmes Pub and get your thinking cap on, along with a pint (or few!).

Punch & Judy

The Punch and Judy is a world famous pub landmark in its own right. Built in 1787, was thought to be named after the famous Punch and Judy puppet performances that used to take place in Covent Garden's Piazza for the children of flower-sellers. If you are after cask ale, chilled glass of wine, cup of coffee in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, then head down to this London favourite.

The Punchbowl

The Punchbowl is one of Mayfair 's oldest pubs. The Punchbowl is definitely a place you can meet, drink and dine, they also know a thing or two about good food, wine and how to unwind in the best way possible. You can find this Public House tucked away on a quiet side street on Farm Street, the Punchbowl is renowned for providing three different dining experience from their a pint of ale and a plate of fish and chips in our Pub, savouring rich culinary creations in our Dining Room or enjoying an exclusive private dinner in The Club, you'll find only the finest in great British food, service and comfort awaits.

Davy's (St James's)

On the iconic Pall Mall, Davy's at St James in London offers the traditional British food and fine vintage wines which the Davy's brand is known for. If you're a wine connoisseur or real ales is more your panache, you can find an extensive list of world wines that offers vintages dating back to the 1970s and plenty of real ales and ciders to sample too.

Market Tavern

With individuality, character and quirky charm, The Market Tavern is tucked away amongst the boutique shops and intimate cafes of London's Shepherd Market, just south of Mayfair. The Market Tavern can be found between Green Park and Hyde Park; so if you are looking for somewhere that has a laid back setting, but a memorable drinking and dining experience (and great Gin's too!) head over to the Market Tavern, your home from home.
