Top 5 Cocktail Bars in London for Birthdays
Vodka Martini? Old Fashion? Pisco Sour...Whether you love your cocktails shaken, stirred or just on the rocks, London is undoubtedly the place to mingle in some of the World's best cocktail bars with some of the World's leading mixologists. Here are some of our favourites.
Mr Fogg's Residence
With original charm, the eccentric British adventurer, Phileas J. Fogg, Esq. welcomes you to his London-based residence, tavern & gin parlour. This incarnation is tucked away down an unassuming alleyway off Berkeley Square. With two sister locations in London, the Covent Garden tavern and more recently opened gin parlour. You can expect enticing tipples, quirky and wonderful artefacts, and what else? An audiobook of Verne's Around The World In 80 Days playing in the bathrooms.
Cahoots
If themed bars are your panache, then head to Cahoots; a vintage tube-themed bar minus the post work rush-hour. Cahoots is a glamorous cocktail bar with costumes, characters and interesting decor. The furnishing is superb, from the handmade menu full of indistinctly smutty wartime posters to the printed Cahoots newspaper. If you ask for anything, ask for a seat in the carriage. It is the best spot in house. P.S cocktails start at reasonable £8!
Radio Rooftop Bar
Radio is a rooftop bar situated on the 10th floor of the ME London hotel with striking views across the river Thames and London's skyline. This rooftop bar is certainly an elegant and stylish place to enjoy a tipple or two and why not accompany it with their Mediterranean inspired menu. With a cocktail menu catered by the ONE group, expect some English twists on well-known and well-liked cocktails. A definite place to take a date, or host a birthday celebration. It's sure to impress and will leave and lasting impression, getting people back again and again.
Fifty9 Bar
Fifty9 can be found in an urbane hideaway located in Mayfair 's Berkeley Square. Sumptuously decorated and oozing style, it offers Central London's residents a suave spot to sip a cocktail and dance the night away. A graciously stunning venue befitting of sought-after postcode, with candlelit tables, impressive lighting displays and leather furniture creating a stylish vibe. As if that wasn't enough, Fifty9's has an all-hands-on-deck party planning team who are happy to cater to your every need.
Nightjar
Nightjar has become a destination venue in London, the ultimate speakeasy bar. It is seating only at The Nightjar, so make a booking and soaking up the charmed atmosphere of this jazz and cocktail heaven. Nightjar is a great bar. With its elegant, low lit room and comfortable seating, smooth table service and a divine list of cocktails, playfully divided into historical eras. A great venue for experimenting!
