Henry Cole Blue Plaque - Sir Henry Cole lived here 1879-1880.  He originated the custom of sending Christmas Cards and was largely responsible for the foundation of the Kensington Museum. He was also a great postal reformer.

Christopher Wren Grey Plaque - The church of St Dunstan in the East stood on this site from ancient times. Sir Christopher Wren rebuilt the church after the Great Fire of 1666 and the only part of his design which survivies is the tower. The remainder of the church was rebuilt in 1817 and destroyed by enemy action in 1941. This garden was created by the Corporation of London and opened by the RT. Hon. The Lord Mayor Sir Peter Studd. on 21st June 1971.

The exact centre of London is marked by a plaque in the Church of St Martin's-in-the-Fields overlooking Trafalgar Square.

Before the 17ft statue of Nelson was erected on top of the Trafalgar Square column in 1842, 14 members of the memorial committee who had commissioned the work held a dinner party on the 170ft-high plinth.
